All's well. . . .

I'm pleased to say that the man who was harassing the Seminary School I attend has withdrawn his libelous web site. He has apologized and all has come to a satisfactory end.

I received this in an e-mail today. It's called "God's Hands".

A notice to my loyal supporters

Currently, this site as well as my other religious based sites are under a verbal attack by a certain man who I believe is trying to cause my seminary school as much trouble as one man possibly can.
At no time have I ever presented myself as an academic. My ordination and my doctorate degree are from a religious seminary. They are religious credentials.
As Dr. Martin Luther King was a Doctor of Theology, so am I.
Since this man has what might be considered internet knowledge, I will be slightly altering the names and hometowns of those who post to my BLOGS, contribute to this Ministry and in other ways identify themselves to the world through any of my web sites. This is necessary, in my humble opinion, to protect my wonderful supporters from any attack, verbal or otherwise, from this person’s questionable behavior.
Please pray that God touches this man's heart and that She will stop him from any future harassment.
Thank you,
Dr. Maggie

This poem was written in 1910; still appropriate today!
Poems of experience. By Ella Wheeler Wilcox. London : Gay and Hancock, Ltd. 1910.

BATTLE HYMN OF THE WOMEN
They are waking, they are waking, In the east, and in the west; They are throwing wide their windows to the sun; And they see the dawn is breaking, And they quiver with unrest, For they know their work is waiting to be done.
They are waking in the city, They are waking on the farm; They are waking in the boudoir, and the mill; And their hearts are full of pity As they sound the loud alarm, For the sleepers, who in darkness, slumber, still.
In the guarded harem prison, Where they smother under veils, And all echoes of the world are walled away; Though the sun has not yet risen, Yet the ancient darkness pales, And the sleepers, in their slumber, dream of day.
And their dream shall grow in splendour Till each sleeper wakes, and stirs; Till she breaks from old traditions, and is free; And the world shall rise, and render Unto woman what is hers, As it welcomes in the race that is to be.
Unto woman, God the Maker Gave the secret of His plan; It is written out in cipher, on her soul; From the darkness, you must take her, To the light of day, O man! Would you know the mighty meaning of the scroll.

Our Prayers and Sympathy

Our Deepest Sympathy and Prayers to all those who lost their lives at Virginia Tech. We also offer our prayers to innocence lost; to those who survived this tragedy but will never be the same.

I thought this was thought provoking, to say the least!

Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets some people Please read.....When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard;"Heavenly Father,We come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good" But that is exactly what we have done.We have lost our spiritual equilibrium And reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and Called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness And called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists And called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline Our children and called it Building self esteem. We have abused power And called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's Possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air With profanity and Pornography and called it Freedom of speech and expression. We have ridiculed the time Honored values of our Forefathers and called it enlightenment.Search us, Oh, God, And know our hearts today; Cleanse us from every sin And set us free.Amen!"The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from around the world.Commentator Paul Harvey repeated this prayer on his radio program, "The Rest of the Story," he received a larger response to the program than any other he has aired. With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our Nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called "one nation under God."

Spiritual Poetry by David Hopper

Alignment
Plodding along - I struggle
I inhale - I exhale life
Changing life - is ever my changing my perception
But yet I am here in the moment
I cannot go anywhere but here
My struggle is always through my soul's center
It beckons and calls
For me the action is reciprocal
There, when aligned my thoughts and feelings are conditioned for pure motives
I take comfort in responding to my soul

The Thick Astral Soup
There's a stirring about - it's all very clear
But if we doddle too long its no longer near
Clear you say from whose point of view?
It's obvious to You
Those tuned into to You
We've struggled for aeons to get to this place
But now is the time to stand up and face
Facing the Dweller in all its malaise
Brings one to see how long we've been dazed
Be it crazy or hazy for long we've been duped
By the forces of darkness in this thick astral soup
But hark the call comes from deep within
That it's up to us to practice, fulfill and begin
Begin to serve and to love and to give
For selfish behavior makes us chagrin
So onward we move and content
Ever vigilant, conscious and without lament
I look back and think what has been hence
Never regretful of the long journey dense
But now I'm more interested in
"How can We do it?
Only "together" instead of round-tuit
So constantly listen to the voice that resounds
So that you'll be ready for the next coming Round.
And know that The Masters ever look for those who can play
With the energies of light and love without delay
That We are the ones - my sisters and brothers
Who will make the difference in this world and another!
